Bridge rounds, expanded portfolio tracking, more robust round history and so much more

Happy New Year! The last quarter of 2022 has been packed for our team and today, we are excited to share a lot of new features and improvements with you.

You spoke, and we listened! Bridge rounds are finally coming to Flowlie. A lot of you needed more granular descriptions of your fundraising rounds so starting today founders can open bridge rounds from any primary rounds. Moreover, we expanded the round manager to allow for more term sheet items once one is signed and gave the overall experience a significant UI overhaul. Bonus: Valuation caps can now be set as Pre-Money or Post-Money. If you have an open round, simply click "Update Round" to make any modifications.

Investors, we have not forgotten you. The Portfolio tab received a notable update and now boasts summary KPI cards, board participation, rights, and more. Portfolio has been split into two sub-tabs: the first presenting aggregated data for each company and the new "Investments" sub-tab showcasing each individual investment in all your companies.

Other new features include:

  • A redesigned "Record Investment" experience allowing investors to track all their rights, board participation, and update frequency
  • An expanded "Round History" sub-tab including summary KPI cards at the top giving you a quick snapshot of the previous financings
  • An improved MOIC calculation taking into consideration dilution due to subsequent rounds
  • Performance improvements across the board

Bugs have been squished:

  • Passed deals will now load properly even for those of you who passed on A LOT of deals
  • Long startup names do not break the UI anymore
  • Rounds that were set as "To Be Determined" do not display a Post-Money Cap anymore

As always, our inbox is open for any feedback and suggestions so please send us an email at support@flowlie.com if anything crosses your mind.
